Therapy also called ( psychotherapy or counseling) is a joint, safe, confidential place between therapist and client. People come to therapy for different type of reasons . Some start therapy due to medical conditions and others come to therapy because life changes ( divorce, death, getting a new job, moving, break up, scary/traumatic events). Therapy helps and assist client to become more self aware of their patterns and allows client to practice new coping skills. In Individual therapy, you and I will together to process the trauma and emotional pain you have experienced in order to move forward. Therapy is a place to find new fresh perspective.
In my work with adults, I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and Psychodynamic therapies in order to help you reach your therapeutic goals. I work with women and men who struggles with anger, depression, anxiety, " not feeling accepted", feeling stuck, and people who have experienced traumatic events in their life.
