​There's no right or wrong way to deal with loss of loved one. Everyone  deals with loss differently. Losing someone you love will brings a lot of change into your life. Losing someone you love can be a " life changing event".  Going through a loss/grief  is process. It takes time and It can't be rushed. It can feel like a rollercoaster when you loss someone you love.  It can bring a lot of mixed feelings for us. Also, culture and religion plays an important factor into this process. Emotional and physical pain can be overwhelming to handle during these times. It is important to be patient to yourself in this process. Loss comes in different way ( death of pet, car accident,  losing a job, retirement, miscarriage, divorce,  recent break up, suicide, homicide, medical/health issues school shooting) and so on.
