Grief is messy and complicated. Grief is a process and can't be rushed. Coping with the loss of someone or something we love can be challenging. The pain of the loss can be overwhelming. When loss happens, you might experience different wide of emotions such as ( shock, numbness, denial, anger, guilt, sadness, confusion). These feelings are normal reactions to loss.
when we lose someone we love, we need someone to talk to about our thoughts and feelings. Everyone grieves In their own way and our culture impacts the way we experience bereavement. In grief counseling, you can feel different range of emotions ( sad, denial, anger, guilt, happy, release, hopeless) and I can provide you a comfortable space where you can express your feelings and emotions. Loss comes in different way ( death of pet, car accident, losing a job, retirement, miscarriage, divorce, recent break up, suicide, homicide, medical/health issues school shooting) and so on.
